Fuel type

Propane
Propane fuel is readily available at most gas stations, grocery shops, and even corner drug stores, which is convenient. Another advantage is that propane comes in a refillable bottle, which easily attaches to grilling machines and doesn’t require additional setup or plumbing.
While certainly affordable, propane fuel is not as cheap as natural gas. It also produces more fumes than natural gas.
Natural Gas
Natural gas costs about ⅓ the amount of propane fuel, which is an obvious advantage. What’s more, natural gas food grills tie directly into your home’s gas line.
As a result, you don’t have to refill or hide ugly 20-pound propane tanks. That means fewer trips to the store and more space to move around in your grill station.
The downside, of course, is the upfront cost of tying your home’s gas line into your grilling station. To do this safely, you should always consult with or hire a licensed plumber.
